How can success truly be measured? Every person that exists on this earth has their own definition to the question. Many may answer with one word answers and many others will write books about their particular answers. I can tell you my answer in a sentence: Success to me is being able to find a career that will enable me to comfortably support myself and my soul mate in the future.
I know that I am a young person living in an industrialized, first world nation. I also know that the only way to get ahead in this world is with an education. The greatest careers in this country come with and only with a good education. The most important decision I have made and will have to continue to make in order for me to be happy and successful, is to stay in college and continue to stride in order to be at the top of my class by my graduation date.
My most important decision, my most important choice that I must make to insure happiness and success is not made all at once, but every second I attend Purdue University. It is made at such moments as in the mornings, when I wake up. It is my choice, my educated decision, that is made in my bed, the second my alarm clock goes off each and every morning.
